Orifice Plates/ Orifice Assembles

The orifice plate is a metal disc with concentric/eccentric hole, which is inserted into the pipe containing fluid flow. Providing a simple means of pressure drop, orifice plate family contains a range of products that is adaptable to almost any process condition and requirement. Restriction caused by orifice plates induces pressure drop and with Bernoulli’s principle, flow rate of the fluid (whether gas or liquid) is measured.

According to standards like ISO5167, pressure tapping pairs which sense upper and lower pressure, can be applied in multiple configurations. Orifice plates are adequate to cope with steam, gaseous and liquid flows under certain considerations.

Orifice plates offer advantageous flow measurement with characteristics including:

ü  Inherently Simple in Operation
ü  Effective Flow Rate Measurement for a Wide Variety of Fluids
ü  No Moving Part Involved
ü  Low-Cost Flow Measurement

ERATECH team provides a full range of orifice plates and orifice assembles designed to tailor customer’s needs and requirements. All types of mentioned plates with corresponding material and configuration is manufactured in our factory based in Klang, Malaysia.
